League Administrator & Co-Founder
Pickleball was on Amy’s radar, and when Rosina invited her to a newbie clinic in May 2021, she was instantly hooked—joining SMPA the same day!
By March 2022, Amy wasn’t just playing; she joined the SMPA Board and was helping to shape the pickleball scene. That October, concerned about the lack of winter play locations, she and Rosina launched Westside’s first ladder league weeks later, powered by sponsorship from SMPA. Amy has been a regular player at CSHS and SeaTac ever since.
As League Administrator, volunteering isn’t just about the game—for Amy it’s about creating play opportunities and building community, something that makes her happy.

In May 2021, Rosina joined a Georgetown pickleball clinic with Amy as a way to stay social and active outdoors. The moment she picked up the paddle, she knew this was the sport for her!
In October 2021—concerned about having nowhere indoor to play as the winter rains and dark evenings loomed, Rosina called Amy and said, "Let's start our own pickleball league!" Three weeks later, Westside Pickleball was born. Bringing people together through play while giving back to the community fills her with joy and a great sense of purpose.
